Ghana President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia were sworn into office on January 7 2017 following the country’s 2016 general elections. The inauguration ceremony was attended by an estimated 6,000 people including heads of state and Ghanaians from across the country.
