Boyhood. Watched this film with two of my former SAIS classmates last night. A story about, well, boyhood. Filmed over the course of 12 years. It was amazing watching the growth in thinking, mannerisms, interests, questions, challenges. The sibling rivalries, the everyday realities of parenting, the transitions. How everything changes, yet remains the same. LIFE. Relatable. 12 years. All I can think is, that’s dedication. In this world of “now nations” it sticks out like a sore thumb. How many of us would be that patient for a project or dream? Highly recommend.
